Philipp Hoflehner led interior design projects in Zurich and New York before joining Bernd Gruber as Creative Director and Partner in 2010. Alongside a word-class team, he designs our projects with his distinctive sense of style and architecture and strives for the conceptual development of the brand whilst ensuring it retains its unmistakeable design identity. As a new member of the management and co-partner, Michael has been responsible for the commercial area and the topic of process optimization since 2023. He grew up with his brother Bernd in the environment of his parents' carpentry business. Until the successful sale of his own company in 2021, he spent his professional career in the IT industry. Due to his many years of experience, he complements the family business in particular with his know-how for applied IT processes, change management and data-driven entrepreneurship. As a generalist with a love of numbers and technology, he has set himself the goal of optimizing all processes and further driving digitalization in the company. In his private life, Michael lives with his family near Salzburg, where he keeps fit with endurance sports.
As a new member of the management team and co-partner, Philipp has been in charge of production, project and process management since 2023. From his father Bernd Gruber, Philipp learned and loved the entire spectrum of carpentry at an early age. He has broad expertise in the areas mentioned and has been part of the DNA of the family business ever since. His particular focus is the holistic view of the company and its further development. Balancing design, craftsmanship and function is his main focus. Philipp prefers to spend his free time with family and good friends or playing sports. Volleyball and skiing are his favorite disciplines.
With high standards, the native South African has been supporting Bernd Gruber since 2017. After stints in China, London and Vienna, the networked-thinking architect is now fully dedicated to Interior Design. With a lot of charm and the necessary vigour, the family father leads the Design- and Planning Department in Kitzbühel and takes on every challenge together as a team. Gerrie himself puts a lot of energy and passion into the details of the versatile projects. If he is not in the capital to refuel on City-Flair, he is most likely to be found at one of the Tyrolean lakes to enjoy time with his family.
As a long-time employee of the carpentry workshop, Gerhard is responsible for all production and work steps in our workshop in Stuhlfelden near Salzburg. With over two decades of experience in woodworking, he leads the team with passion and precision. His expertise ranges from traditional carpentry to modern manufacturing techniques, creating a perfect symbiosis of tradition and innovation. Under his leadership, high-quality, custom-made wood products are created that are known for their quality and attention to detail. His expertise in dealing with high-quality natural materials, his love for detailed work and his pursuit of perfection make him an indispensable part of our company. When Gerhard is not in the workshop, he likes to spend his free time in the nearby mountains and with his family.
With many years of expertise in the luxury & lifestyle segment, Franka is responsible for all marketing and communication measures at Bernd Gruber. Franka masters the entire spectrum of communication on all channels offline and online. She critically examines the performance of the measures and adjusts the adjustment screws where necessary in order to deliver the best results for healthy and sustained growth of the company. With new ideas and insights, she regularly provides valuable contributions to excellent creative communication work and always thinks outside the box. Her particular passion is horses and polo, which is why you can usually find her in the polo stable or on the tournament lawn when she is not out in nature with her family and dog.
