Historic rooms, adapted in a contemporary way

For the design of this apartment, the immediate surroundings were the perfect inspiration: Munich as a place where tradition and future visions meet. These contrasts are reflected in the furnishings, the materials and the design of the rooms – panel parquet and stucco meet reduced interior design and industrial details.

Highlight of the apartment: The bathroom, which is separated from the bedroom by a mirrored cube.

Handcrafted details turn the apartment into an individual home.

STORY

Design flexibility for all needs

In close coordination with the monument protection authority, the apartment was originally designed for a two-person household. Due to the flexible room design and the open ground plan, it could be adjusted to the new family situation with a newborn shortly after the completion. This home combines the needs of a small family with high aesthetic standards.

The classic walls with stucco work give the furniture an effective appearance.
