About Christophe Delcourt
Christophe Delcourt (born 1966, France) is a self-taught designer who perfected his craft in French manufacturing workshops, mastering materials, traditional techniques, and the art of fine furniture making. In 1995, he founded Delcourt Collection, one of the premier addresses for French design, known for its commitment to craftsmanship and refined, understated elegance.
Delcourt combines architectural precision with the expressive power of raw materials, especially wood, in his work. In his designs, he attaches great importance to the purity of form and the integrity of the material, drawing inspiration from architecture, art, and nature. Each piece is created in collaboration between Delcourt and a network of artisans—carpenters, potters, brass casters, and upholsterers—resulting in furniture that reflects both French excellence and timeless aesthetics.
