Historical heritage meets contemporary gastronomy, design, and club culture in Lech.

In the popular ski resort of Lech am Arlberg, a place has been created that combines tradition and modernity in a special way. Together with builders Benjamin Schneider and Patrick Krummenacher, and in collaboration with Jürgen Kitzmüller Architektur, a unique ensemble of restaurant, concept store, and club has been created—nestled in a carefully restored historic building with special significance for the region.

Covering around 430 m², this project combines first-class cuisine, an exceptional shopping experience, and the Margo's club concept under one roof—designed with a keen sense of atmosphere, quality, and the cultural context of the location.

The listed building was restored with great effort and attention to detail and given a modern interpretation. Bernd Gruber was responsible for the overall design, execution, and construction supervision, with each room reflecting the spirit of the house and the clear vision of the builders. The design ranges from alpine understatement to urban sophistication and a subtly curated material and lighting concept.

Soft velour and mirrors give the staircase a special presence.

The result is a meeting place that combines architecture and emotion—a cultural statement with character, design clarity, and great respect for its natural surroundings.
