Chalet Tyrol

Designing with the natural environment.

An alpine retreat for relaxation, community, and inner peace.

In the heart of the Tyrolean Alps, in idyllic Reith near Kitzbühel, a retreat has been created that not only respects its proximity to nature, but also incorporates and builds upon this in its design. The guiding principle behind this extraordinary project was clear from the outset: secluded, natural living that creates space for tranquility and special encounters—embedded in an aesthetically sophisticated, artistically interpreted interior design by Bernd Gruber.

The kitchen combines rustic authenticity with clean elegance and frames the view of the alpine surroundings.

Living in harmony with the landscape.

The interior design picks up on the design language of the surroundings and transforms it into a deliberately designed living concept: private rooms and guest areas have been arranged in such a way that they allow for both intimacy and shared experiences.

Materials, textures, and colors follow nature—with earthy tones, raw surfaces, and finely tuned contrasts.

Every room supports what makes a home: freedom, familiarity, and lasting emotions.

Waste wood and green ceramics in harmonious combination.

A massive block of natural stone called "Cippolino" and mineral crystal vases enrich the entrance area.

It's not about staging, but about an authentic attitude to life that is conveyed through interior design.

Illuminated wooden shelves and a marble surface discreetly showcase glassware and ceramics.

"It was clear right from the first workshop: this is a place for family, friends, and sports. That's exactly what you feel in every room."

Textured surfaces made of metal, leather, and wood combine functionality with subtle elegance.
