"This family loves life," says Elif Turgal-Hofbauer, senior interior designer at
Bernd Gruber, the client behind the cabin in the Dolomites near Bolzano. "They are all very athletic and go skiing together almost every weekend. At our first meeting, the client told me that it had always been his dream to have a cabin like this—for his family, but also for gatherings with friends." There is talk of fine wines, mature bacon, and exquisite schnapps.
